Thugh it lks like backbreaking wrk, Ali says it is a great imprvement ver his previus jb, flding bed-sheets in a nearby textile factry, fr much lwer pay. Nw, if he eats simply, he can save mney frm his wages f just ver $l an hur and send $250 a mnth t his parents and six brthers and sisters in Peshawar, Pakistan, 2,700 miles away, “As sn as I heard abut this wrk, I asked fr a jb,” says Ali, 24, a bearded man with glasses and an easy smile.
