On March 3, 2023, members f a girls’ lin dance team were practicing mves f a lin dance at a cmmunity activity center in Guangzhu.
Since it was set up in July 2019, the girls’ lin dance team has wn many prizes at different lin dance cmpetitins.
The team is part f the “Hexingtang” lin dance trupe(表演团) which was set up in the 1980s. Befre 2018, all the perfrmers f the trupe were male(男性的). In 2018, six girls jined the trupe.

The shrinking(萎缩) in size fllws a rule in nature called Bergmann’s Rule. The rule says that animals in cler areas are usually larger than thse in warmer areas. Large animals are able t keep warm in cld weather. That’s why animals in cld areas are larger.
