展开读后续写满分25分, 提供一段350词左右的语言材料,要求考生依据该材料内容、所给段落开头语和所标示关键词进行续写(150词左右),将其发展成一篇与给定材料有逻辑衔接、情节和结构完整的短文。阅卷时将主要考虑以下内容:

在总分为150分的新高考试卷中,听力总分值为30分,阅读理解为35分,语言运用为45分,写作为40分(其中应用文写作为15分)。相比于其他部分的题量和分值占比,读后续写的重要程度不言而喻。而随着新高考的普及,考查该题型的省份也将越来越多。今天重点分析考情,寻找共性,为备考导向。
2020-2023年高考英语读后续写考情分析

不难看出,迄今为止,读后续写所给文章的体裁非常固定,均为记叙文。在考查形式上,则根据关键词(在所给文章中用下划线标出)的有无分为两种。率先考查该题型的浙江省自2016年以来便严格按照《普通高等学校招生全国统一考试英语科 考试说明》中的要求,使用包含10个关键词的考查形式;而2020年以来的新高考卷则均采用了无关键词形式。相较而言,无关键词的题型在续写时自由度更高,不受关键词的限制,容易发挥,但跑题风险也随之提升,难度并不低于有关键词的题型。
读后续写要求考生在理解一篇不完整文章的基础上,充分调动想象创新思维,大胆预测文章缺失部分的内容走势,进行充满个性色彩的设计,并用英语进行续写表达。需要注意:学生应该根据文章内容需要,写出一篇合乎逻辑、故事性强、和文章内容关联的正能量的文章,多以记叙文故事类文章或者夹叙夹议类文章为主,故事情节有曲折、有起伏,但故事线索的逻辑性比较强。以下几点值得注意:
1.创造性:即发挥想象力,该题型具有一定的开放性,考生需用自己的语言对故事情节进行内容创造;
2.逻辑性:即根据已提供的关键信息,按照可能的合理的方向续写,使文章逻辑结构完整;
3.丰富性:即语言能力的充分体现,词汇句法的准确与复杂程度,细节描写的生动性等都将让故事更加立体饱满。
下面我们来看一下这历次考查所给文章在内容上的特点:

从表格中,我们不难找出该题型选题上的一些共性:故事主题主要倾向于选择家庭趣事或温馨小事,或者惊险刺激、充满悬念的野外遇险故事、善举助人、难忘回忆;故事主要角色的属性较为固定,通常为同个家庭的成员;故事主要场景一般是家中或者野外,同时,多次有动物角色登场。
由此可见,在对所给文章进行续写时,动作、语言、神态和心理的描写是四大基本要素。备考时,考生需重点积果这四大要素的常用及出彩表达,并不断进行相应主题的练习。此外,考生也应注意积累环境描写以及动物描写相关的表达,并对一些节日风俗有基本了解。
写作基本思路分析:
一、写作前
1.读文,理清文章脉络
2.写作视角:第一人称,I
3.时态:一般过去时
4.主题:人与自然,救助动物,人与自然和谐相处
5.人物描写的相关细节
注意文中动作描写的方式,如使用了动作链(体现了动作的连贯性)、从句和非谓语(体现了动作的主次性);注意动词的精确使用及精准搭配。
6.情节构思:续写两段的首句分析及事情发展方向的构思
二、写作中
1. 根据情节发展需要,恰当使用人物对话、心理情绪、表情动作、环境气氛等写人记事的描写手法。
2. 根据需要,有选择地合理使用语法结构及多样化句式,如插入语、with的复合结构、非谓语动词结构、三大从句、特殊句式(省略句、强调句、倒装句、There be句型等)。
3. 可适当使用修辞手法,如比喻、拟人、夸张等。
注意:续写务必要和原文风格一致,情节要保持连贯性。两段续写总词数150左右,大约就是15句话左右,基本是每段写个七八句就差不多了。(当然,句子都很短,多数都是简单句的话,就不止15句了)要长短句结合,张弛有度,不要刻意使用长难句,表达自然流畅即可。
三、写作后:润色修改
成文之后,照着三遍修改:
一改:基础错误,如拼写错误、标点符号、语法错误、词数是否达标等。
二改:写作升级,即适当适度替换词汇、使用多样化句式表达、合理运用一些结构(如从句、非谓语、倒装句、疑问句、感叹句等)
三改:行文逻辑、语义逻辑等。
温馨提示:建议连读带写在30分钟左右完成。熟能生巧,平时多写多练,功到自然成。
