After a week, the birds’ singing muscles lst half f their strength. Three weeks later, they were back t the same level when they were juveniles (幼鸟) and never had sung befre. When Adam played ne f the male’s sngs fr: a grup f female birds, six ut f nine preferred the sng that came frm a male wh had been using his singing muscles daily.
