He wrte Wednesday that he travelled the last 129 kilmetres in ne big,final push t the finish line.The distance tk ver ne day t cmplete.O'Brady wrte, “While the last 32 hurs were sme f the mst challenging hurs f my life,they have quite hnestly been sme f the best mments I have ever experienced.”
The day befre,he wrte that he was “in the zne” and thught he culd make it t the end withut stpping.“I'm listening t my bdy and taking care f the details t keep myself safe,”he wrte.“I called hme and talked t my mum, sister and wife—I prmised them I will stp when I need t.”
Other peple have travelled acrss Antarctica,but they all had sme frm f assistance.They had either better,mre plentiful supplies r equipment that helped them mve frward.In 2016,British explrer Henry Wrsley died in his attempt t travel alne acrss Antarctica unassisted. Wrsley's friend Luis Rudd,als frm Britain,is nw attempting an unaided sl3 jurney in hnur f Wrsley. He is cmpeting against O'Brady t be the first t d it. O'Brady plans t stay n Antarctica until Rudd finishes his trip.
