The researchers then asked 405 peple t judge the true nature f six truthful and six deceptive statements chsen frm written recrds f the interviews. The half f the participants relying n multiple signs accurately judged lies frm the truth just 59% f the time, while the ther half relying n level f de tail alne identified the right answer 66% f the time.
