The first grup that watched cmedy shwed a big imprvement in the amunt f xygen which we breathe in t survive and that the heart culd pump arund the bdy. Their arteries als gt better at expanding, which meant that mre bld culd flw thrugh them. There was less plaque in the arteries afterward t, cutting the persn's risk f having a heart attack r strke.
The study was led by Marc Saffi, a prfessr at a hspital, wh said laughter helps the heart because it releases chemicals in the bdy called endrphins. They reduce inflammatin, which can lead t heart disease, and help the heart relax.
