The glasses, which Facebk had made fun f in the past, start at $299 and cme in three styles, and are available t buyers in six cuntries, including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdm.

Facebk lent me a pair f RayBan Stries with sunglass lenses (镜片) s I culd decide fr myself. RayBan Stries rely n a cmpanin smartphne app called Facebk View t let yu see, edit and share images and vides. It was easy t send pictures t friends via the app.
As far as I culd tell, nbdy nticed anything unusual abut the glasses while chasing my kids arund a busy playgrund, even when I was taking numerus shrt vides. It wuld have been easy t use these glasses t invade ther peple's privacy.
I spke with Jeremy Greenberg, plicy cunsel at the Future f Privacy Frums, abut my experience. He said there's “definitely sme cncerns” that peple didn't appear t ntice that I was capturing pictures and vides—smething that wuld be mre bvius if I had pulled ut my phne.
“It'll be interesting t see, if this technlgy becmes widespread, will flks srt f develp that cultural understanding that their images might be taken r vides might be taken?” he asked. “It's real that time will tell.”
And after days f trying them ut, I still didn't have the sense that I (r anyne, really) need RayBan Stries. Yu may need eyeglasses r sunglasses, and a smartphne, t. But it's ging t be tugh fr Facebk t cnvince mst peple that they have t have a device that can repeat a few f their phne's features sitting n their face—even ne that lks this gd.
