    Eric Carle,the authr f ver 70 bks fr children,passed away at the age f 91.Mr Carle’s lively,creative,and clrful wrks have been lved by children arund the wrld.The Very Hungry Caterpillar is Mr Carle’s best-knwn bk.
    Eric Carle was brn in New Yrk in 1929.His parents were German.As he grew up,Eric spent a lt f time with his father,wh wuld take him ut walking in nature.His father wuld shw him small living things,explaining their life cycles and filling the yung by’s head with wnder.Eric thught this helped explain why s many f his bks are abut nature,bugs and animals.
