Teaching aim:
(1)能听懂、会说、初步认读driver, cook, doctor, farmer,和policeman五个生词,发音正确。
(2)能听懂What`s he/she?能用He`s/She`s a/an…回答,语音语调正确。
(3)初步学习课文Let’s talk第一部分对话。
Main points & Difficulties:
(1)能听懂、会说、初步认读五个单词,发音正确。

教具准备及辅助活动:单词卡片、课件、挂图以及各类表示职业的道具。
Teaching procedure:
A、Greeting
1、T says“Hello”to the Ss and introduce herself to them.
2、Conduct classroom evaluation mechanism: divide the Ss into 2 groups, if one group answer the question correctly in class, the group can get a red flag. At the end of the class, the group that has more red flags wins the competition. Then the T will give the winners a surprise.
B、Warming up
All students enjoy an English song “My family”. During the song, they can clap their hands or wave their hands.
C、Presentation
Let’s learn:
1、Invite the Ss to come to Ruby’s family and introduce the family members to the Ss. “Welcome to my family”
My family members: Dad ------ driver Mom ----- cook
Uncle ------ policeman
Brother ------- farmer Sister ----- doctor

2、Learn the 5 new words together.
(1)The methods of learning the words:开火车,大小声,指认读,碰地雷...
(2)Practice the sentence pattern:

Boys ask it,and girls answer it. Then exchange.
3、Let’s have a chant.
(1)PPT shows a chant and let’s read it along to the beat.
(2)According to the chant, let’s review the new words and the sentence pattern.
4、Let’s play “Guessing game ”.
Using the words you have learned to guess the career of the pictures.
5、Do the pair work.
PPT shows 3 pictures and the Ss should find a partner to make a dialogue like the example.
Let’s talk:
1、The Ss Watch a video between Li Shan and Miss White and pay attention to listening, then the T asks 2 students to try to answer the two questions.
Q1 What’s Li Shan’s father?
Q2 What’s Li Shan’s mother?
2、Listen to the conversation again and check the answers “T” or “F”.
3、Read the dialogue together.
4、Act it out.
Ask some students to the blackboard and act the dialogue out.
D、Practice
Professional play (act and guess)
The teacher asks one student to the platform and the student should use body languages to express a career , then the rest students need to guess it using the sentence pattern “She/ He is a/ an…”
E、Emotional Target
Talk about your dreams :“What do you want to be in the future?”
(1)The teacher do an interview and ask some students what kind of occupation they would like to pursue in the future, then let the Ss say something about their dreams.
(2)Every profession is equal and worthy of respect.Whatever your dream is, you must work hard and try your best. Then the dream will come true! Come on! My babies!
