The film mainly focuses on life and love within three animal families—giant pandas, golden monkeys and snow leopards.
A symbol of China, the giant panda is both black and white. Its body is thought to show yin and yang. The panda’s gentle nature(本性)also shows how yin and yang, when perfectly balanced, lead to peace and harmony. Is there a way to quickly recall (回忆) information just before taking an exam? Walking backward might be a solution. Scientists from the University of Roehampton in the UK said this activity can help people improve their short-term memory.
Researchers asked 114 volunteers to watch a video. After watching the video, they were divided into three groups .One group was told to walk 10 meters forward. The second group walked 10 meters backward. The third group stood in one place. All three groups were then asked 20 questions about what they saw in the video.
The scientists found that the backward-walking group got two more answers correct on average (平均) than the other two groups.
This suggests that the link between the concepts (概念) of time and space is important in terms of (从……方面) how our minds form memories. When you walk backward, you see things from a different angle (角度). This difference helps people recall things that happened in the past.
And walking backward is not just good for our brains. It is also good for the rest of our bodies. Compared to walking forward, walking backward is more challenging. This can help us improve our fitness, according to New Scientist. Walking backward uses more energy in a short time and burns more calories (卡路里).
In addition, walking backwards is less stressful for our knees. It could be helpful for people who often have pain in their knees, according to researchers from the University of Oregon in the US. Walking backward also keeps our spines strong, which can help to ease pain in the lower back. This might be why many old people like walking backwards.

根据下文“Since the kai and mo trees grew near the tombs of two respected people”可知此处应用备选词汇near表示“在孔子墓附近”。故填near。
故填used。
故填many。
故填their。

    Less Pressure, Better Life
Hello, boys and girls! It’s a great honor for me to make a speech. My topic today is “Less Pressure, Better Life”.
Many students are under too much pressure because of too many exams. Some students worry about their exams, while other students can’t get on well with their classmates or parents. I’m always under pressure, too. My parents send me to all kinds of after-school classes at weekends. And sometimes I have no time to finish my homework. Here are some ways about how I will deal with my pressure. First, I will have a talk with my parents about my pressure to help them understand me better. I will tell them that I need more time to finish my homework and review my lessons. Second, I plan to keep taking exercise after school with my classmates every day. What’s more, I am going to listen to music and watch some interesting movies in my spare time. All of these will help me relax myself.
Everyone should pay attention to mental health and learn how to relieve pressure to live happily!
That’s all. Thank you for your listening!
