Over the next two years, I had to work very hard. Every prize for the singing competition was given to me for the hard work. My grades were still very low but improved little by little. I work very hard. However, I was never the best at everything.
I haven’t realized until recently that I really don’t have to be the best at everything. I was too hard on myself. In fact, when I did badly in a test, ______.

①Have you ever been trying to talk to a family member, only to realize that you can’t speak their name out? You suddenly can’t remember your cousin’s name correctly and start calling them all of your other relatives’ names.
②We’ve all experienced that situation—it usually happens among our closest friends or family members, so we just laugh it off. But these researchers wanted to find out why.
③They got 1,700 people together and asked them if they had ever been misnamed, or if they had ever misnamed someone else. Then they asked those 1,700 people what names were accidentally (意外地) used and about the relationship between them.
④Unsurprisingly, they found that the most common culprits (过错者) were parents (usually mums) calling their kids by the wrong sibling’s (兄弟姐妹) name, or even a family pet’s name!
⑤What the researchers discovered is that misnaming generally happens within social groups, meaning that when family members call other family members by the wrong name, they usually use the name of another person in the family, while friends use other friends’ names.
⑥When we store information in our brains, we keep information in a network. In this network, we group related (相关的) information together. Basically, what this means is that related information is stored in a same group. Sometimes when we try to get that information, we accidentally end up saying something else from that same grouping.
⑦So, instead of getting unhappy if someone calls you the wrong name, or embarrassed (尴尬的) if you call someone the wrong name, just remember that it’s all a sign of love.

71. What does the underlined words “that situation” refer to (指代)?
A. You don’t know who is your cousin.
B. You call your family by the wrong name.
C. You can’t remember all relative’s names.
72. Which questions are asked during the research?
①Have you ever been misnamed?
②Who did you give a wrong name?
③How often do you give a wrong name?
A.①③ B.②③ C.①②
73. What’s the result of the research?
A. People may misname the person in the same social group.
B. People mix up the whole information we’ve got in a network.
C. People call others the wrong name because they love each other.
74. What’s the purpose of Paragraph ⑥?
A. To explain the reasons why people misname others.
B. To show the ways how people store information.
C. To introduce the people who often misname others.
75. What can be inferred (推断) from the passage?
A. The most common culprits only misname their family pets.
B. Students may call the English teacher by another teachers’ names.
