中考英语连词知识讲解连词是一种在句子与句子之间，短语之间以及名词等其他词语之间起连接作用的虚词，它不能单独作句子的成份。一、连词的分类按其意义可分为并列连词和从属连词两大类。（一）并列连词常有的并列连词有and, both…and, either…or, neither…nor， not only…but also, as well as等。但如果连接的两部分意义不趋向一致，意义有转折的并列连词有：but, however, yet, still，while等。Mary was a nice girl, but she had one shortcoming.Tom got up early, yet he failed to catch the train.He was very tired, still he kept on walking.Your composition is fairly good, however, there is still some room for improvement.Jane is hard working ,while her sister is quite lazy.还有表示选择关系的并列连词，如：or, or else, otherwise… 再有的是连接双方，互为因果，或表示前因后果的连词有：for, so, therefore (因此)，then等。（二）从属连词1.连接名词性从句。如：that, if, whether。2.连接状语从句。其中有原因状语从句，常用的连接词有：when , while, as, since, before, after, once, as soon as, until, till。连接条件状语的连词有：if, unless, as long as 等，原因状语的连接词有because, since, as, now that (既然)。目的、结果、方式、比较、地点等状语从句的连接词有：so that, so…that, such…that, as…as, than, where… 它们在句子与文章中几乎无处不见。（三）so...that...可以与以下结构转换：A.与too...to...结构的转换too...to...意为“太……以至于不能……”,与so...that...结构互换时,that从句中必须使用情态动词can't(如果是过去时则用couldn't)。如:He was so clever that he couldn't make such stupid mistakes.→ He was too clever to make such stupid mistakes.他太聪明了,不会犯这么愚蠢的错误。温馨提示:如果主从句的主语不一致,改为同义句时,要用too...for sb.to...结构。如:That question is so difficult that I can't work it out.→That question is too difficult for me to work out.这个问题太难,我算不出来。B.与enough to do/not enough to do结构的转换a)与enough to do sth.结构的转换。enough to do sth.意为“……足够做某事”,与so...that...结构转换时,that从句中必须使用情态动词can。如:You are so healthy that you can get back to school.→ You are healthy enough to get back to school.你身体健康,可以回学校去了。b)与not...enough to do结构的转换。not...enough to do意为“没到做某事的……”,与so...that...结构转换时,that从句中必须使用含有否定意义的情态动词。enough前面的形容词是so...that...结构中so后面形容词的反义词。如:The boy is so young that he can't dress himself.→The boy is not old enough to dress himself.这个孩子还没到自己穿衣服的年龄。He is so impatient that he can't wait.→ He is not patient enough to wait.二、特殊连词句子01 unless “除非, 如果不”unless: 连词, 意为“除非, 如果不”.相当于  if ...not.引导条件状语从句, 主从句在时态上遵循主将从现的原则。Unless it rains tomorrow, we will go fishing.=If it doesn't rain tomorrow, we will go fishing.如果明天不下雨，我们会去钓鱼。02 so...that..."如此......以致于.......”"so …that…" 意为“如此......以致于......." 引导结果状语从句句型为:   主语 + 谓语 + so + 形容词/副词+ that从句“so +形容词+ a / an +单数名词+that从句   The book is so interesting that most kids become interested in it.这本书如此有趣以致于大岁数孩子都对它感兴趣。2.It is so interesting a book that many people want to buy one.这是如此有趣的一本书以致于很多人想买一本。##注意区分“so...that....”"如此.......以致于......" 引导结果状语从句和“so that”“以便; 为了”引导目的状语从句。My sister made a model plane so that she could help with her friend studying the science last night.昨天晚上我妹妹制作了一个飞机模型以便她能帮助她的朋友学习科学。##注意“so +形容词+ a / an +单数名词+that从句”以及“such +a/an+形容词+单数名词+that从句”的区别   It is such an interesting book that many people want to buy one.这是如此有趣的一本书以致于很多人想买一本。03 as soon as "一......就......."As soon as :意为 " 一.......就......."  引导时间状语从句。当主句是一般过去时的时候，从句用也用一般过去时,即“主过从过”；当主句是一般将来时的时候，从句用一般现在时表示将来，即“主将从现”。As soon as Tom saw the cat, he fell in love with it.(主过从过)汤姆一看到这只猫，就爱上了它。I’ll go shopping as soon as my mother comes back.（主将从现）我妈妈一回来，我就去购物了。
