设计说明

首先让学生观察Listen and read部分的图片，并进行提问，导入对本课的学习。本课的学习是围绕寻求帮助的话题展开的。通过Listen and read部分，使学生初步掌握寻求帮助的句型“Can you help me, please？”及其应答语。再通过后面的听说训练，以及结对对话等活动，步步深入，最后通过Write的环节，使学生能够比较扎实地掌握寻求帮助的句型及其答语。

教学目标

通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标:

掌握本单元新单词及短语: help, me, of course, classroom, know, say, that, again, welcome。

掌握本单元的重点句子:

Step 1　Leading in

Show a picture about the story Help. Ask students the following questions.

Who wants help?

Who helps?

Step 2　Listen and read

1. Ask the students to read the conversation silently.

2. Play the recording and ask the students to listen and read the conversation.

3. Read the conversation.

Daming: Can you help me, please, Lingling?

Lingling: Yes, of course.

Daming: How do you spell “ classroom ” ?

Lingling: I’m sorry. I don’t know.

Miss Zhou: It’s C-L-A-S-S-R-O-O-M.

Daming: Can you say that again, please?

Miss Zhou: Yes. It’s C-L-A-S-S-R-O-O-M.

Daming: Thank you.

Miss Zhou: You’re welcome.

Step 3　Language points

1. Can you help me, please, Lingling? 玲玲，请问，你能帮助我吗？

(1) Can you do sth. ? 用于表示请求允许、征求意见等。

肯定回答: Yes. /Yes, I can. /Yes, of course.

否定回答: Sorry, I can’t./I’m sorry, I…

Can you help me with my English? 你能帮助我学英语吗？

(2) can 是情态动词,表示“能够,会”。

can 无论与什么人称和数搭配,后面都接动词原形,变问句时can 提前,变否定句时为cannot，缩写成can’t。

I can swim. 我会游泳。

She can spell it. 她会拼写它。

They can sit here. 他们能坐在这里。

Can you help me? 你能帮我吗？

He can’t open the door. 他不能打开门。

—Can Mary draw? 玛丽会画画吗？

—Yes, she can. /No, she can’t. 是的,她会。/不,她不会。

(3) help的用法

help sb. (to) do sth.

= help sb. with sth.

I often help my mum (to) do the housework.

=I often help my mum with the housework. 我经常帮妈妈做家务。

help (to) do sth. 帮忙去做某事

Please help (to) clean the classroom. 请帮着打扫教室。

2. You’re welcome.不客气。

此句用于回答“Thank you.”，类似的表达还有“That’s OK./That’s all right./ Not at all.”。

welcome的其他用法:

welcome (sb.) to... 欢迎(某人)到……

Welcome (you) to our school. 欢迎(你们)到我们学校来。

2. Ask and answer like this:
