Upcycling isn’t a new idea. Sme f the best examples f mdern-day upcycling cme frm the 1930s t 1940s when families didn’t have enugh materials. In thse days, things were repurpsed ver and ver until they were n lnger useful. Fr example, an ld dr can be made int a new dining table. There are tw ways t supprt the upcycling mvement. Srt(分类) thrugh yur wardrbe (衣
橱 )r recycling bin and create items yurself, r buy ready-made items frm upcycled materials. Bth ways are gd fr the envirnment and in return, yu get smething that’s bth attractive and practical.

needs mre energy than recycling
needs t break dwn base materials
prduces mre waste than recycling
The underlined wrd “refashining” in Paragraph 2 prbably means “ ”.

The writer prbably agrees that .
it is better t make clthes with used tea bags
upcycling is much greener than recycling
it is necessary t help thers t upcycle
peple need t be mre creative
What des the last paragraph mainly tell us ?
It’s better t buy ready-made items frm upcycled materials.
Hw t get smething that’s bth attractive and practical
Hw t supprt the upcycling mvement.
It’s imprtant t create items urselves.
