2023届高考英语二轮复习it的用法课件
展开代词,常出现在对话、阅读中
天气、环境、季节、时间、距离
不知性别的孩子或身份不明确的人
(1)指天气、环境、季节、时间、距离
1.It is early spring,but it is already very ht. 现在是初春,但天气已经很热了。
2.It is 12 ’clck nw. 现在十二点了。
3.-Hw far is it frm yur hme t schl? .-从你家到学校有多远? .-It is abut twenty minutes’ walk. .-大约20分钟的步程。
(2)指不知性别的孩子或身份不明确的人
1.-Wh is it kncking n the dr? .-谁在敲门? .-It might be Tm. .-可能是汤姆。
Is it a by r girl?是男孩还是女孩?
(3)指代上文提到的事物
1.My pen is missing.I can’t find it anywhere. 我的笔不见了。我找不到它了。(it指代上文中提到的pen)
此处作using的宾语,根据语境可知,所填词指代上文的railway,故填it
2.Hwever,the railway quickly prved t be a great success and within six mnths,mre than 25,000 peple were using ______ every day.
(4)作形式主语或形式宾语,代替动名词、不定式或从句
1.It is unknwn when he will cme.他什么时候来还不知道。(it作形式主语,从句是真正的主语)
2.I find it difficult t wrk with him.我发现和他一起工作很困难。(it作形式宾语,不定式是真正的主语)
注意:某些动词(短语)后接从句时要用it作形式宾语,再接从句,构成“动词(短语)+it+that/if/when/...从句”,如:①I hate/like it when... 我讨厌/喜欢...②Yu shuld see t it that... 你应该确保...③Yu can depend n it that... 你可以相信...④I can’t help it if... 如果...我也没有办法⑤I wuld appreciate it if... 如果...我将感激不尽
★常用it作形式主语的句式★
It is n wnder that... 难怪 is a pity/shame that...真可惜/丢人 seems/appears that...似乎/看起来 seems/lks as if/thugh...看起来好像 ccurs t/cmes t/hits sb. that某人突然想起’s said/reprted/believed/well-knwn...据说/据报道/人们认为/众所周知 was/has been+时间+since...自从...多长时间了It is/will be+时间+befre...多长时间才It is+形容词(+f/fr sb.)+t d sth.(某人)做...是...的It’s time(fr sb.) t d sth.到(某人)做某事的时间了It is/was/will be the that...这是第一/二/...次做 is n use/gd ding sth.做某事没有用/好处
(5)用于It 强调句中
1.It was they that/wh cleaned the classrm yesterday. 昨天是他们打扫的教室。
It was Thmas Edisn that/wh invented the bulb.是托马斯·爱迪生发明的电灯泡
2.They cleaned the classrm yesterday. 他们昨天打扫了教室。去除强调句句式后句子成分完整
(6)高考实战分析&练习-it
高考主要考察it作替代词;it与ne,that的区别,it作形式主语、形式宾语的用法,以及it用于固定句式、强调句型的情况。
答题时,无法判断填什么词时,要考虑句子是否为含有it的固定搭配或句式。
实例:(浙江卷)Many westerners wh/that cme t China ck much less than in their wn cuntries nce they realize hw cheap ____ can be t eat ut.
分步解答:①分析句子成分:“hw cheap ____ can be t eat ut”是宾语从句,且为感叹句结构,空格处在句中作主语,但句中的不定式t eat ut是主语,所以空格处需要用形式主语;②确定代词形式: it可作形式主语。
实例:(全国卷Ⅱ·改编)Sarah made ____ t the airprt just in time t catch her plane this mrning.
分步解答:①分析句子成分,made后面缺少宾语;②分析句意: “今天早上萨拉及时到达了机场,正好赶上飞机。” make it 为固定搭配,意为“成功做某事;及时到达”
