教学目标:
1、 复习在本单元出现的关于食物的词汇及生词dessert。
2、 复习本单元出现的食物的为可数名词或不可数名词,以及既是可数又是不可数名词的词汇。
3、 让学生进一步巩固和熟练掌握在餐馆中点菜的交际用语。What kind of … would you like ? I’d like…./What size bowl of noodles would you like? I’d like a … bowl.
4、 运用would you like …? I’d like …. We have …for…. I t’s….等句型写一篇餐馆的宣传广告。
教学重难点:
1、 重点:
(1)熟练运用交际用语: What kind of … would you like ? I’d like…./What size bowl of noodles would you like? I’d like a … bowl.
(2)能运用Would you like ...? We have … for ….It’s ....句型为写餐馆的宣传广告。
2、 难点:
(1)cabbage ,fish, chicken,既是可数又是不可数名词的词汇。
(2)能够合理运用We have … for ….等句型来写广告。
教学步骤:
- Greeting
- Guiding:
The teacher ask: How are you ?/what’s the weather like ?Do you feel hot? Would you like some drink? I’d like ….(板书)
And the students answer.
- Review the words of the food.
First, let the students choose the food in the supermarket. The teacher ask : What kind of meat/ vegetable/fruit would you like? The students answer: I’d like ….
Second, whole class read all kinds of food together.
Next, put the food into the three baskets(countable , uncountable nouns and countable and uncountable nouns. And tell the student pay attention to these three words--- cabbage ,fish, chicken(板书). When they are alive ,they are countable nouns. When they are made to be a dish, they are uncountable nouns.
- Learn how to communicate and order the food.
First, look at the picture of noodle house .They are giving a discount. Find out what specials they have. And use the structure “We have … for ….”(板书)(use “only” to express the price is cheap.)
Second, practice the sentences: What kind of … would you like ? I’d like…. It’s ….(板书) Then pair work in a minute. At last, ask two pairs come the blackboard to show us.
Third, review the sentences: What size bowl of noodles would you like ?(板书)I’d like a small/medium/large bowl of noodles.
Fourth, learn the new words and practice the structure “We have … for ….”
Fifth, watch a video and answer these two questions:
①. What kind of noodles would he like?
②. What size bowl of noodles would he like?
Sixth, role play the conversation which happened in a restaurant. Look at the picture, group 1 and 2 are waiters ,group 3 and 4 are customers. Make a conversation.
- Learn to write an ad.
First, image you have a restaurant, write an ad for it.
Second, give an writing sample. First, read the first sample. Then, ask the students pay attention to the structure-----the beginning ,the ending and the body.
Third, tell the students how to write the body. We have to have something to attract the customers .For example, all kinds of food, specials, dessert, and the price should be very cheap, so I use the material of 3a to show how to write the writing body. And ask the students to fill in the blank .
Fourth, provide the writing structure in 3c.
Fifth, ask students to pay attention to write the topic sentence, the ending, the ways of attracting the customers, the spell, the grammar and the handwriting.
Sixth, check.
6.Summary.
Ask students to summary what we have learn today?
①. Review the words of food and drink.
②.How to order the food in a restaurant.
③.How to write an ad for a restaurant. And so on.
7.Homework.
Our class is going to prepare a food festival for school. Please write an ad for the food festival. The beginning likes this,

We are going to have a food festival.
We have great specials…
