Children like to play in the garden. like to do与like doing的意思都是“喜欢做...,like to do表示一次性或偶然性的动作。like doing指习惯性和经常性的。 例子: He likes to sing today. Now the children cannot play in his garden. 这是一个否定句,cannot是情态动词can的否定式,等于can't,后面接动词原形,没有人称、时态和数的变化。 例子: The bird cannot fly.
A giant lives in a big house with a beautiful . Children like to play in the garden. They have a lot of fun there. When the finds the children in his garden, he is very angry. The giant builds a tall wall around his garden. So the children play in his garden. Soon Miss comes. She brings beautiful flowers and birds, but she does not bring any to the giant's garden. Because the giant doesn’t kind to children. One morning, the giant hears some sounds. He sees some beautiful flowers too. The giant is very happy. He finds some children in his garden. They are coming a hole. They bring Miss Spring to his garden!
