Lesson 24: How Was Your Weekend?
设计说明 首先,通过展示生动直观的图片激发学生的学习兴趣;同时通过一问多答的形式引出本课时的话题How was your weekend?(周末怎么样);随后,通过Look and say的环节,带领学生复习一般过去时的用法,为本节课接下来的学习做好铺垫;然后,通过播放录音,了解丹尼的邮件内容;接着,读短文,并利用Let’s Do It!中的练习题对文章内容进行巩固。之后,通过小组合作,训练学生的口语交际能力和语言运用能力;最后,利用当堂达标的题目,巩固本节课所学的知识。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握单词:everybody 接触单词:yummy 短语和句型:have a great/good weekend,take a bus It’s… away from… How was your weekend? 2.能力目标 (1)掌握本课的重点单词、短语及句型; (2)能用一般过去时描述上周的活动。 3.情感目标 合理安排自己周末的学习、运动、休息、娱乐等活动,过有意义的周末。 重点难点 1. 重点:能正确使用动词过去式对活动进行准确的描述。 2. 难点:能围绕“上一周周末活动”话题进行口语交际。 教学准备 PPT 课件;本课节用到的录音。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in 1. Teacher: Do you like weekends? And what do you usually do on weekends? (give some pictures to help them) Students: I usually watch TV. 2. Show some pictures, and let the students ask and answer in pairs. What do you usually do on weekends? 3. Show the students some pictures and explain the usage of the simple past tense.
Step 2 Listening Get the class to listen and match the pictures with the questions.(Let’s Do It! No.1) Step 3 Reading Get the class to read the lesson and answer the questions. (Let’s Do It!No.2) 1. Who taught Danny to make donuts? 2. What does Danny think of homemade donuts? 3. How is Danny going to the mountain? 4. How far is the mountain from Danny’s house? 5. What is Danny going to bring for everybody? Answers: 1. Danny’s mum. 2. Fresh home-made donuts are so delicious. 3. He is going to take a bus there. 4. It’s three hours away from Danny’s house. 5. He is going to bring some donuts for everybody. Step 4 Working in groups What did you do last weekend?What are you going to do next weekend?Interview your group members and fill in the table. Then present it to the class. Step 5 Practice Get the class to fill in the blanks with the words in the box.

Next weekend,I am going to climb a mountain! Step 7 Language points 1. How was your weekend?你的周末过得怎么样? how是疑问副词,意为“怎样”,它引导的特殊疑问句常用来对意见、打算、程度、方式、手段等进行提问。 常用短语: how much 多少 (询问价格或者不可数名词的量); how many 多少 (询问可数名词的数量); how long 多长 (对时间、长度提问); how far 多远 (对距离提问)。 How do you usually go to school?你通常怎样去上学? 2. We are going to take a bus there. 我们打算乘公共汽车去那里。 take a bus 乘公共汽车,相当于“by+交通工具名词”。表示“乘坐某种交通工具”用“take+冠词+交通工具名词”,这个结构类似的用法还有:take a cab/taxi 坐出租车;take the subway 坐地铁。 He took the subway to the train station. = He went to the train station by subway. 他乘地铁去了火车站。 Don’t take the taxi at the airport. It’s too expensive. 别在机场打出租车。太贵了。 3. We are going to sing songs and play games on the bus. 我们要在公共汽车上唱歌并玩游戏。 on the bus在公共汽车上 “on+冠词/名词所有格/形容词性物主代词+交通工具”,表示“在某种交通工具上”,也可以用来表示“乘坐某种交通工具”,这样的交通工具一般是指 plane、train 等大型交通工具或者 bike。 【拓展】当表示乘坐 taxi、car 等小型交通工具的时候,一般用“in+冠 词/名词所有格/形容词性物主代词+交通工具”结构。 He went to work in her car. 他坐她的车去上班。 4. My uncle is going to bring his camera and I am going to bring some donuts for everybody. 我叔叔将带上他的相机,我将会为每个人带些面包圈。 bring v. 带来 Bring your camera to school. 把你的相机带到学校来。 【辨析】bring与take ①bring是指把人或物从别地带到说话人所在地。 You should bring your homework today. 你今天应该把作业拿来。 ②take是指把人或物从说话人所在地带到别地。 Please take the book to the library.请把这本书带到图书馆去。 Step 8 Homework Try to write about your activities of last weekend and your plan for the next weekend. 板书设计
