“After more than l,000 days of suffering (痛苦), I finally returned to the motherland,” Meng said after she got off the plane. She described the motherland, the Party and the government as the shining light that led her on the long journey home.

It was the last day of our final exam. On the steps of one building, a group of engineering（工程学）students were talking about their exam which would begin in a few minutes. Nearly 3 billion people or 37% of the world’s population have never used the Internet, according to the United Nations, although the Covid-19 pandemic drives people online.
