Health is more important than wealth.Good health enables us to enjoy our life and achieve what we hope for in our career.Today,more and more people are in poor health.If we want to keep healthy we should have a healthy diet.
First,we should have a balanced diet.Though we may not like eating vegetables,but the vegetables have a lot of nutrition.They are very good for our health.
Second,we'd better eat regular meals.We need to eat breakfast,lunch as well as dinner every day.Because regular meals throughout the day can give us enough energy to carry out our daily activities.
Third,we should get away from fast food,for it may cause a lot of diseases.
Nowadays more and more people are concerned about their health.But how to keep healthy?Different people may give different answers to this question.Experts say it is essential(极其重要的)to do the following.
First,it is absolutely necessary to take some exercise every day.Research shows that getting plenty of exercise makes the heart beat faster and the lungs work harder.This strengthens(增强)the heart,reduces the chance of heart attacks,and helps lower blood pressure.That's why more and more people are becoming active in various kinds of sports and exercise.Through sports and exercise,people become healthier and stronger.
It is widely recognized that a healthy,balanced diet is essential for preventing disease and illness,managing your weight,living longer and keeping things such as hair,skin and nails in good condition.
Medical researchers have proved that what people eat affects their health.They advise people to eat more fruit and vegetables and less meat such as beef and pork because meat contains more fat than poultries(家禽)and fish.Fat can build up in the arteries(动脉),block the flow of blood,and cause a heart attack or stroke.
Getting rid of bad habits like smoking and drinking alcohol is also an important way to keep healthy.Smoking and drinking alcohol injure one's health a great deal,and therefore should be given up.Unfortunately,few people follow this advice.
If people follow these three ways of keeping fit,they will greatly improve their health.
