Step 1 Warming-up (PPT 3-4)		1. Ask Ss to have a discussion about Chinese festivals including dates,activities and so on. 2. Guide Ss to brainstorm the foreign festivals and make them say something about them.				通过讨论中国的节日，引出学生对外国节日的好奇。完成外国节日的导图。从而引出今天的听力主题Halloween.
Step 2 Presentation (PPT 5-9)		1.Show Ss some pictures and make them say out the activities on Halloween. 2.Read the words and phrases about Halloween. 3.Ask Ss to look at the pictures and read words related to Halloween in 1a. 4.Answer the question “What do you think this festival is about?”.				学生通过观看这些图文并茂的图片，了解这些万圣节活动，学习与万圣节相关的单词和短语, 导入课本1a。
Step 3 Listening (PPT 10-12)		1. Play the tape for the first time for Ss to listen and answer the questions in 1b. Where is Halloween popular? When do people celebrate Halloween? What does Wu Yu think of this festival? 2. Ask Ss to try to describe the festival. 3. Play the tape for the second time and ask Ss to fill in the blanks. 4. Check the answers and read them together.				在听1b和1c之前，让学生充分掌握这个听力材料的难点, 因为这是学生比较陌生的文化知识。在听力之后让学生多读一读这些相关句子。
Step 4 Role-play (PPT 13)		1. Ask Ss to make a conversation using the information in 1b and 1c. Think about the Halloween activities that interest you most. Discuss what you have learnt with a partner 2. Role -play the conversation.				利用上面听力中所了解到的文化知识和词汇编对话，并进行表演。

教学反思		1.本节听说课主要围绕万圣节的相关活动为听力材料。 2.强调较难的结构a. I know that.... b. I wonder if... 以及所填词的适当形式，如：houses/windows 。这是听力过程学生容易忽略的词性变化。 3.在听力之前要重点给学生解释一下trick or treat，使学生对国外节日这类的文化知识有所了解，因为这是学生比较陌生的文化知识。
