1. Lead in 呈现新同学Oliver和五位新老师图片。Show the new student Oliver and five new teachers respectively on the PPT. T: It’s a new term now. Let’s meet a new student. Look, who is he? Do you know him? Ss: Oliver. T: Yes! He is Oliver. And we will have five new teachers. (Show the five new teachers on the PPT) Who are they? Do you want to know? Ss: Yes! T: (Show the pictures of six subjects one by one) Look at pictures and say the corresponding teachers. Ss: OK. Maths/English/Chinese/art/music/science teacher. T: Who’s your ... teacher? Let’s ask Zhang Peng. 2. New words(单词/句型学习) (1)教授单词young/old。Teach the two words“young/old”. Show the picture of “Let’s learn” and circle the picture of Mr Jones. T: Who’s Oliver’s art teacher? Ss: Mr Jones.Show the picture of Mr Jones. T: Is he young? Ss: Yes, he is. Write down the word “young” on the blackboard. Show the picture of an old man and a young man. Lead students to look and compare. T: Is he young? (Point to the black hair of the young man.) Ss: Yes, he is. He’s young. Write down the word “young” on the blackboard. Teach it like this: young, young, he’s young. Let students try to write and read. Explain that the word “young” is the antonym of the word “old”. Then point to the old man and ask: Is he young? Students answer: No, he isn’t. He is old. T: Who’s Oliver’s music teacher? Ss: Mr Young. T: Mr Jones is young. Is Mr Young young, too? Ss: No, he isn’t. He’s old. (2)教授单词funny。Teach the word“funny”. Show the picture of “Let’s learn” and circle the picture of Miss Green. T: Who’s Oliver’s science teacher? Ss: Miss Green. T: Is she young? Is she funny? Ss: Yes, she is. T: She is funny Write down the word “funny” on the blackboard and read: fun-ny, funny, funny, she’s funny. Let students try to spell it and perceive the pronunciation of the letter “y”. Show a picture of funny boy. Say the sentences with students: He’s funny. Ask students to make funny faces. Let them read the word loudly at the same time. (3)教授剩余两个特征单词kind/strict。Teach the other two words in the same way. (4)呈现五位老师图片,结合老师称呼区分Mr/Miss/Mrs。 T: Look, who are they? Let’s meet our teachers. Ss: Mr Young, Mr Jones ... Look and explain the difference among “Mr, Miss, Mrs”. The teacher asks and students answer quickly. T: Who’s the art/music/science... teacher? Ss: Mr Jones. T: Great! Let’s say hello to our teachers. 3. Let’s learn (1)呈现Let's learn图片,跟读单词和对话内容。Show the part of “Let’s learn” on page 5. First, let students listen to the recording and read after it. Ask students to pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation. (2)播放视频,模仿并表演。Then play the video. Ask students to imitate Oliver and Zhang Peng to ask and answer with their partners. At last choose some students to act out. Practice.(单词/句型操练) 4. Ask and answer 呈现教师图片,结合教师特点进行对话问答练习。Ask students to imitate Oliver and Zhang Peng to ask and answer with their partners.
