Once a year, a race is held fr ld cars. A lt f cars entered fr this race last year and there was a great deal f excitement just befre it began. One f the mst handsme cars was a Rll-Ryce Silver Ghst. The mst unusual car was a Benz which had nly three wheels. Built in 1885,it was the ldest car taking part. After a great many lud explsins, the race began. Many f the cars brke dwn n the curse and sme drivers spent mre time under their cars than in them. A few cars, hwever, cmpleted the race. The winning car reached a speed f frty miles an hur---- much faster than any f its rivals, it sped dwnhill at the end f race and its driver had a lt f truble trying t stp it. The race gave everyne a great deal f pleasure. It was very different frm the mdern races but n less exciting.
