    How can I get there?Part B Let’s try & Let's talk

    教学目标

    1. Knowledge objective: Be able to understand the Let's Try part of the listening and complete related exercises; Can listen, speak and read interesting, pizza, street and get. -- How can I get to the... ? - Turn left/right at..." .

    2. Ability Objective: To cultivate students' listening ability and oral communication ability.

    3. Emotional goal: Teach students to help others when they ask for directions.

    教学重点

    1. Good command of interesting, pizza, street and get; Use the sentence patterns to talk about going to places.
    2. Learn exclamatory sentences like "What an interesting film!

    教学难点

    Students can give directions according to the map and the sentence patterns I have learned.

    Teacher preparation: multimedia courseware, textbook recordings

    Student Preparation: Pre-class preparation

    教学过程

    1. Step1:Warm up

    Teacher shows a video about Where is the hospitaland lets the students sing a song together.

    1. Step2:Lead-in

    (1)Revision

    Shows some pictures and lets the students answer some questions:

    T: Where is the Italian restaurant? Turn right here?

    Ss: No, turn left.

     

    1. Step3:Let's learn

    (1) Let’s try

    Listen carefully and then choose the right answers.

    (2) Watch a video

    Listen and answer

    Teacher let the students listen to the record and answer the questions:

    ①Is there a museum shop in the museum?And where is it?

    ②Does Robin know where the post office is?

    Where is the post office?

    And then listen to the record again and answer the questions:

    Robin wants to buy a postcard in the museum shop.

    Robin wants to send a postcard in the post office.

    (3) Listen and repeat

    (4) Teacher explains positionnear,next to,behind prepositions and sentence patterns:Is there……

                   —Where is it?

    4.Step4:Practice

    (1)Look at the picture and fill in the blanks

    Teacher lets the students look at the pictures carefully and choose the right answer.

    Then teacher asks the students and they answer the questions.

    (2) Free talk

    T: Look at the pictures and make dialogues.

    5.Step5Summary

    Look at the mind map and review the text.

    1.Listen and read Let's talk on Page 4.

    2.Talk about places with family or friends, using the sentence patterns learned in this lesson.

    教学反思

    In this class, when teaching words, sentences are seldom used, not from the context and sentences. The practice link is also a single practice word, which is not better combined with sentences.
