本单元是人教版《义务教育课程标准实验教科书英语（新目标）》七年级下册第三单元。课题是 Hw d yu get t schl?本单元的话题是“Transprtatin”，通过单元学习，让学生学会“Talkabut hw t get t places”理解并掌握如用 Hw lng des it
take?和Hw d yu get t schl? Hw far is it?句型的提问和回答，让学生学会谈论自己日常上学的经历，并且学会正确使用交通工具和数字的英文表达。同时培养学生的交通安全意识。Sectin A对话部分主要谈论各自的上学方式，练习使用“Hw/Hw lng/Hw far·. . ”句型。Sectin B通过听力强化训练，练习交通方式的表达；阅读部分介绍了中国一个偏远村庄孩子们“独特”的上学方式—滑索道。通过对比，让孩子们更加珍惜自己的幸福生活。
二、学情分析
本班学生是来自乡村的学生，极很少部分有一定的英语基础，绝大部分来自农村一点基础没有，部分同学无法开口说英语；学生的跟读的能力还是不错，所以教师在进行本单元设计的时候一定要注意照顾到全体学生，节奏放慢，鼓励学生开口交流，表达自己。本单元谈论出行方式，和学生的生活息息相关，学生应该比较好理解，但个别交通方式比如地铁，火车或飞机，部分学生不太了解，没有此方面的经历，老师可以借用图片或视频引导学生理解。
