时间状语从句
引导时间状语从句的连词有：when, as, while, until, nt…until, befre, after, since, the minute, the mment, each( every, next, the first) time等。时间状语从句中一般用一般现在时或一般过去时。
When , while, as都可解释为“当```的时候”但侧重点有所不同。
When
Eg: When I arrived hme , I had a little rest.
注意点：
when 从句的主语与主句主语相同，谓语动词是be 动词时，从句主语和be可以省略。
Eg: When (she was) walking alng the street, she met her class teacher.
As
As 除了表示“当```的时候”，还可表示为“一面```一面”，“随着”
Eg: He sang as he danced.(一面```一面)
Yu will grw wiser as yu grw lder.(随着)
While表示“当```的时候”强调主句的动作和从句的动作同时发生，从句一般用进行时，从句动词必须是延续性动词。
Eg: While we were wrking, they were having a rest.
While (they were) having a discussin, they gt very cnfused.
注意点：
while 有对比的含义，解释为“然而”。
eg: I prefer black tee, while he likes cffee.
until, nt…until表示“直到```才”,在肯定句中主句常用延续性动词；在否定句中主句常用短暂性动词。
肯定句：I waited until midnight.
否定句：I did nt leave until midnight.
注意点：
1）nt until…在句首，主句用倒装
eg: Nt until yu had explained hw did I manage t d it.
2) It is nt until…that…引导的强调句
It was nt until it was dark that he came back.
3. the minute, the mment, each time都可表示“一```就```”
eg: The wrker recgnized the type f the machine the mment he saw it.
注意点：
the minute, the mment, each ( every, next, the first) time作连词不和when 连用。
4．Hardly/scarcely…when, n sner…than, as sn as表示为“一```就```”
eg: I had hardly/scarcely gt hme when it began t rain.
I had n sner gt hme than it began t rain.
It began t rain as sn as I gt hme.
注意点：Hardly/scarcely…when, n sner…than位于句首，主句用倒装
eg: Had I hardly/scarcely gt hme when it began t rain.
N sner had I gt hme than it began t rain.
二 条件状语从句
条件状语从句分为两大类：真实条件句和虚拟条件句。引导条件状语从句的连词有：if, even if/thugh, unless/ if …nt, as lng as/ s lng as, as far as/s far as, prvided/prviding (that), n cnditin that 等。条件状语从句中如果主句是将来时，条件状语从句用一般现在时。
unless 和if…nt
unless 相当于if…nt
eg: Yu will fail unless yu study hard.
Yu will nt fail if yu study hard.
注意点：
在虚拟条件句中可用if…nt，但不能用unless
eg: If she were nt t silly,she wuld understand.
2． 引导条件状语从句的其它连词：
Eg: Yu may g there ,as lng as yu keep quite.
Eg: I shall give yu the bk n cnditin that yu return it tmrrw.
Eg: I will g prvided that yu g t.
三 让步状语从句
引导让步状语从句的连词有：thugh, althugh, even if/ thugh, hwever, n matter hw, n matter what, n matter wh等。
thugh, althugh不可与but连用，但可以和yet , still连用.
Eg: Thugh/Althugh it is raining ,they are still running utside.
注意点：
thugh可引导倒装(althugh不引导倒装)，结构为：
强调对象+as/thugh+主语+其它成分，强调对象可为表语（名词、形容词）或状语（副词），表语为名词时，前面不用冠词。
Child as/ thugh he was, he knew what was the right thing t d.
Tired as he is, he ges n with his wrk.
despite 和 in spite f 也有让步意义，后接名词或动词，而thugh, althugh是连词，后接从句。
Eg: Despite /In spite f wanting t see him again, she refused t reply t his letter.
Thugh/althugh she wanted t see him again, she refused t reply t his letter.
2. “n matter+疑问词”或“疑问词+后缀ever”
eg: N matter what happened, he wuld nt mind.
Whatever happened, he wuld nt mind.
注意点：n matter+疑问词不能引导名词性从句
even if/ thugh表示“即使”
eg: He desn’t want t marry her even if/ thugh he lves her very much.
四 原因状语从句
引导原因状语从句的连词有：because, since, as , nw that ,cnsidering that, fr the reasn that , due t the fact that,wing t the fact that等
1．because
because语气最强，通常用于回答why 提出的问题
注意点：
在it was…that…的强调结构中，强调原因状语从句可用because引导，不用since,as, fr引导。
Eg: It is because she is t inexperienced that she des nt knw hw t deal with the situatin.
2. since和as
since的语气比because 弱，比as强，表示间接的，已知的原因，自然的结果，表示“既然，由于”。
Eg: As/ Since yu are nt very well, yu had better have a rest.
3．fr
当fr表示原因关系时，fr分句是对第一分句内容的推断或猜测。
Eg: It must have rained last night, fr the grund is wet nw.
五 目的状语从句
引导目的状语从句的连词有： s that, in rder that, lest, in case, fr fear that等。
Eg: Yu must speak luder s that/in rder that yu can be heard by all.
He wrte the name dwn fr fear that he shuld frget it.
Better take mre clthes in case the weather is cld.
注意点：lest, in case, fr fear that所引导的状语从句中，动词可以用虚拟语气，形式为shuld+动词原形，也可不用虚拟语气，用动词的一般现在时或一般过去时。
Eg: Yu had better leave the key at hme in case ne f us shuld think f/thinks f cming back.
六 结果状语从句
引导结果状语从句的连词有： s that, s…that, such…that等
eg: He is s yung that he can nt g t schl.
He is such a yung by that he can nt g t schl.
1．常用句型：
s+形容词/副词+that从句
s+形容词+a/an+单数可数名词+that从句
such +a/an+形容词+单数可数名词+that从句
such +形容词+复数可数名词/不可数名词+that从句
s和such的搭配规律
such修饰名词或名词词组，s修饰形容词或副词,s还可接many, few, much, little等。

七 比较状语从句
引导比较状语从句的连词有：as…as, than, nt s…as, the mre…the mre等
如：
He speaks English as fluently as his brther (des)
I can’t jump s /as high as he (des)

The mre yu read, the mre interesting , yu will find the nvel is .
连接词than 可作为关系代词用。 如：
He wrte mre than was necessary
Dn’t carry mre mney than is needed
八地点状语从句
引导地点状语从句的连词有:where, wherever以及 where构成的复合词等
eg: She fund her calculatr where she lst it.
Wherever I am, I will miss yu.
注意点：
eg: I happened t see yur dictinary lie where I used it last time.（地点状语从句）
I happened t see yur dictinary lie in the lab where I used it last time.（定语从句）
九 方式状语从句
引导方式状语从句的连接词有as, just as, as if / thugh（一般用虚拟语气， 也有用直陈语气的）等。
EG：Just d as yu are tld.
The wrkers went n wrking as if nthing had happened.
He talked t the girl as thugh he had fallen in lve with her.
在just as ---, s --- 结构中， as 带有比喻含义。 意为“正如”， 多用于正式文体。
EG：Just as sme peple like sprts, s sme peple like music.
the way 也可引导方式状语从句 。
EG：yu shuld perate the machine the way I d .
