(1)位于系动词后作表语。 Eg: This bk is interesting. (2) 位于名词前作定语。 Eg: This is an interesting bk. (3) 位于复合不定代词之后，修饰复合不定代词。 Eg: There is nthing imprtant in tday’s newspaper. (4) 位于宾语之后作宾语补足语，常与make, leave, keep等动词连用。 Eg: This bk makes me happy. (5) 在句型 It is + adj. (+ fr sb./f sb.) t d sth.中。 Eg: It is imprtant fr us t learn English. It is kind f yu t help me. (1) 实义动词之前或be动词、助动词、情态动词之后，常用频率副词。 Eg: Mr. Green always g t schl by car.(2) 位于句首作状语，修饰整个句子。 Eg: Luckily, she passed the exam.(3) 修饰动词、形容词或其他副词。 Eg: He always des hmewrk carefully. (carefully 修饰动词des) This is a very exciting mvie. (very 修饰形容词exciting) The by runs very fast. (very修饰副词fast)
形容词变副词的转化规则：(1) 形容词后直接加-ly. Eg: clear --> clearly(2) 辅音字母加y结尾的形容词变y为i再加-ly. Eg: angry --> angrily(3) 辅音字母加le结尾的形容词去e加-y. Eg: pssible --> pssibly(4) 少数以e结尾的形容词要去掉e再加-ly. Eg: true --> truly
形容词变反义词的规则如下：(1) im- + 在以字母m, b, p开头的形容词之前。 Eg: pssible (可能的） --> impssible （不可能的）(2) un- + 形容词。 Eg: necessary (必要的) --> unnecessary (不必要的)(3) dis- + 形容词。 Eg: hnest (诚实的) --> dishnest (不诚实的)(4) in- + 形容词。 Eg: crrect (正确的) --> incrrect (不正确的)
如何判断空格处使用名词：(1) 位于冠词a/an/the后。 Eg: The Great Wall in China is a wnder (wnderful) f the wrld.(2) 位于名词之后，即用于名词修饰名词的结构中。 Eg: Schl bus safety (safe)is imprtant fr everyne .(3) 位于形容词或形容词性物主代词之后。 Eg: Culd yu tell me its length (lng)?(4) 位于介词之后。 Eg: The panda is ut f danger (dangerus).
形容词变名词的规则如下：(1) 形容词 + -ness. Eg: happy --> happiness(2) 形容词 + -ty/ -ity/ -y. Eg: difficult --> difficulty; safe --> safety(3) 形容词（以t结尾的）去掉t + -ce. Eg: patient --> patience(4) 其他。 Eg: freign --> freigner true --> truth
