At the Night Safari, yu can watch these animals in a mre natural envirnment than in a nrmal z.

（1）thusands f 意为“数以千计的；许许多多的”，后接可数名词复数，用于表示不具体的数目。Thusands f middle schl students want t wrk as a teacher in the future. 许许多多的中学生将来想当老师。

【拓展】thusand 前面有具体的数词或several等时，用单数形式，其后不加-s，也不和f连用。 与thusand用法类似的词还有hundred、millin、billin等。There are five thusand teachers in the prvince. 这个省有五千名教师。
（2）safe 形容词，意为“安全的；无危险的”，其反义词为dangerus，意为“危险的”。This place is very dangerus. Yu shuld g t a safe place. 这个地方很危险，你应该去一个安全的地方。【拓展】safe的名词形式是safety，意为“安全”，反义词是danger。A driver must think f safety. 司机一定要考虑到安全。

（1）n the ne the ther hand 意为“一方面另一方面”，引出不同的，尤指对立的观点、思想等。On the ne hand this activity makes peple happy. On the ther hand peple have t affrd t much mney while ding it. 一方面这个活动让人们快乐，另一方面做这个活动时人们不得不花掉太多的钱。
（2）three quarters 意为“四分之三”。在英语中，表达分数时要注意：分子用基数词，分母用序数词，即“子基母序”。当分子大于1的时候，分母要用复数形式。
a quarter 四分之一
a/ne sixth 六分之一
five sevenths 七分之五
【拓展】含有分数的短语做主语时，谓语动词的单复数形式要与分数后的名词的数保持一致。若为可数名词复数，谓语动词也要用复数形式；若为可数名词单数或不可数名词，谓语动词用单数形式。Three fifths f the students in ur class are girls. 我们班里五分之三的学生是女生。Tw thirds f the water is used fr farming. 三分之二的水被用于灌溉农田。
