can 与be able t区别: can 与be able t在用法上既有相同的地方, 又有不同的地方, 这应该引起注意。当它们表示能力的时候,是同义的。如: He can speak tw freign languages. He is able t speak tw freign languages.
它们用法上的不同主要体现在以下几方面: 1) can只有两种时态, 即can 和culd, 而be able t 有多种时态, 如was / were able t, will / shall be able t, have / has been able t等。 I’ll be able t drive the car in a week. I culd help yu last night, but yu didn’t cme. Can yu see it there?
3) can能表猜测,be able t不能。can的这种用法主要用于疑问句和否定句。 Smebdy is kncking at the dr. Wh can it be? It can’t be ur teacher wh is kncking at the dr.
2) 表示过去通过努力终于做成了某事要用be able t,而不能用can。如: I was able t swim t the bank after the bat turned ver.

nt…any mre = n mre “不再”, 主要用来表示数量和程度,一般常修饰短暂性动词,指某动作不再重复发生。如: I dn’t wrk here any mre. 我不在这里工作了。(强调过去情况不再延续)
He still smked, but he drank n mre. 他还在抽烟,但不再喝酒了。 (指过去情况不再延续)Yu can drink n mre. = Yu can’t dink any mre. 你不能再喝了。(喝酒的量到了一定程度,再也不能继续下去了) He wants n mre mney. 他不要跟多的钱。(强调数量)
