使用分词（短语）的三个注意点  

 现在分词和过去分词的区别是学习非谓语动词的难点之一，特别应注意以下三点：

 一、区分好主动和被动关系

 总的来说，现在分词表示一个主动的动作，而过去分词表示一个被动的动作。

 二、把握好时间上的先后关系

 现在分词强调一个正在进行的动作，而过去分词表示一个已经发生的动作。

 三、牢记逻辑主语一致性问题

 分词作状语，其逻辑主语应该和句子主语保持一致。

 例1. Tsinghua University,      in 1911, is home to a great number of outstanding figures.

 A. found       B. founding   C. founded         D. to be founded

 【分析】首先，清华大学是1911年被创建的，表示二者的被动关系，排除B项；同时“创建”这一动作早已完成，而不是to be done，强调将来，found则表示“被发现”，意思不同。故本题最佳答案是C。
