a. 1. Ask students to read the passage and circle T(True) or F(False). Then check the answers together.

“为某人买某物”常用buy sb. sth.或buy sth. to sb., buy的过去式是bought。

b.He also wants to buy a birthday cake.他也想买一个生日蛋糕。

also意为“也”，在句中用在行为动词前，系动词后。

c.Let students talk about the passage. Finally, give students two minutes to retell the passage in their own words.
