【教学目标】
知识目标:
(1)学生能听懂、会说单词: first, second, third 能听懂、会说、认读单词floor, art, music, room。
(2)学生能听懂、认读、会说句子: Where’s the …? It’s on the first/ second/ third floor.
技能目标:
学生能够运用所学词句谈论学校功能室的位置和学校生活。
情感目标:
学生能够在课堂活动中大胆表达、积极与他人合作完成学习任务,增进热爱学校、享受学校生活的美好情感。
【教学重难点】
(1)序数词first, second, third的正确读音及运用。
(2)学生能听、说、认读并在情境中运用 “Where’s the…? It’s on the first/ second/ third floor.”句型谈论学校功能室的位置。

课件、单词卡、学校贴图、功能室图片
【教学过程】
Step 1: Warm-up and task presentation.
- Free talk.
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Ms Luo.
T: (引入评价介绍)Look, I have some different cards about school. If you do well you can get them. Come on!
T: Boys and girls, do you have good friends? Who is your good friend?
Ss: My friend is…
T: I have a good friend too. (播放Mary声音:Hello, boys and girls. My name is Mary. I’m a teacher from Australia. Look, this is my school.)
Then play a guessing game about Mary’s school. Use the sentence“Is this the…?”
随机教学art room music room并板书。
2. T: This September Mary will visit our school. Let’s introduce our school to Mary. OK? But first let’s learn more about school. (在黑板上贴学校图)
【设计意图:1.通过猜测图片了解外教学校这一语境复习了第一课时的playground、classroom、office、lab等词和Is this the…?句型,并融入了新词art room、music room的学习。关注了学生已有的知识储备和新旧知的融合。2. 创设了外教要来学校访问,向外教介绍学校这一贴近学生生活的语境,提出了本课的学习任务。】
Step 2: Text Presentation.
1. T: Look, this is Lucy. Today Lucy is visiting Jenny’s school. What places are they talking about? Let’s follow them.
Ss: classroom, art room, music room.
(教师根据学生的回答把相应的图片贴到黑板上。)
2. T: Look at Jenny’s school. It has three floors.
学习first floor second floor third floor并板书操练
T: Jenny’s school has three floors. But where’s the classroom? Where’s the art room? Where’s the music room? Listen and underline the answers.
(学生找出答案后请几名学生把黑板上教室图、美术室图、音乐室图放到教学楼相应的楼层位置。)
3. Practice in pairs.
Where’s the…? It’s on the … floor.
4. 利用板书总结课文:This is Jenny’s school. The classroom is on the third floor.The art room is on the second floor. The music room is on the first floor.
【设计意图:充分利用课文语境,通过看动画回答问题、听音画答案等方式分层次理解课文、学习新知。】
Step 3: Practice.
1. Imitation show.
2. Dubbing show.
3. Sing a song: We have a music room.
4. Talk about Mary’s school.
T: I think you know more about Jenny’s school. What about Mary’s school?
① Sharp eyes : 快速闪现Mary学校功能室位置。教师问Where’s the…? 学生用It’s on the…回答。图的呈现难度逐步增加并最终呈现完整的学校图。
②Ask and answer:同桌问答尝试记住各功能室所在楼层的位置。
③Good memory:请一名同学到台前背对屏幕,其他学生根据老师出示的功能室词卡问该同学Where’s the…? 该同学用It’s on the… 回答。
观看Mary学校视频,渗透外国学校文化。
【设计意图:通过听音跟读、动画配音、演唱歌曲等方式培养学生良好的语音语调和语感,进一步巩固课文。活动4的设计以继续了解Mary学校为语境,通过三个不同层次的活动在趣味游戏中巩固运用本课重点句型。所用的句型基于课本活动2 Let’s talk,但语境创设又不局限于课本,更贴近生活。】
Step 4: Consolidation and extension.
T: Mary will visit our school this September. If Mary comes here, can you introduce our school to her? But how to introduce? First please talk in groups.
学生每一组一张学校图片,小组讨论如何介绍学校。
运用语言:

小组展示。
播放学校视频,感受丰富多彩的校园生活,增进学生热爱学校的美好情感。
T: Boys and girls, we have so beautiful school. We have so many kind teachers and friends. Let’s enjoy our colorful school life!
