Unit2 It’s very old .

一、教学目标：

1、知识与技能：（1）学习并能够识别单词famous、old、London、Big Ben、Hyde Park、Tower Bridge并根据提示书写这些单词。 

（2）学习并能够运用This is +地名，It’s + adj.的语言结构来描述自己喜欢的城市。This is Big Ben. It’s very old. And it’s very tall.这类语句描述旅游景点。    

2、过程与方法：通过合作学习的方式，从听、说、读、写各个方面完成学习任务。

3、情感态度与价值观：通过学习了解英国的标志建筑和著名旅游景点等，开阔学生的文化视野，激发他们对英语的学习热情和兴趣。

二、教学重难点：

1、重点：1）、单词发音准确，如London、Hyde、Tower Bridge等。

2）、本课三个景物词组： Big Ben，Hyde Park， Tower Bridge 

3）、学习并能够运用This is +地名，It’s + adj.的语言结构来描述自己喜欢的城市。

2、难点：1）使学生能运用所学词组对自己熟悉的景物进行简单、正确的描述。

2）激发学生兴趣，使他们敢于用简单的语言准确描述身边景物。

三、教学过程：

Step1: Warming-up 

1. Greeting  
2. Warm up.

Let’s review《London is a big ciyt》(根据图片复习上节课学活的内容)

Eg:Buckingham Palace is very big and very beautiful.

       Buckingham Palace is the Queen’s house.

Step2: Lead in

        Last class we learnt something about London. Do you want to know more about London? Today let’s go to London again.

Step3: New teaching

1. Learn the new words: famous、old、London、Big Ben、Hyde Park、Tower Bridge
2. Learn the text.

1)     Let’s look at the blackboard to know what we will learn today.

1、              part 1:Listen,point and say.

2、              Part2:listen and say

2)     Big Ben——This is Big Ben. It’s very old. And it’s very tall.

Hyde Park——This is Hyde park. It’s very beautiful。

Tower Bridge——And this is Tower Bridge. It’s very famous. And it’s very beautiful too.

Step4:Do some exercises.(根据课文填空)

     Big Ben is very old and tall,Hyde Park is very beautiful, Tower Bridge is very famous and beautiful, Buckingham Palace is very big and beautiful.

Step5：Think,ask and answer.

Eg；A：It’s a big city. What is it?             B:It’s London.

    A: It’s very big and very beautiful.what is it?   B:It’s Buckingham Palace.

A: It’s very old.what is it?                B:It’s Big Ben.

A: It’s very  beautiful.what is it?          B:It’s Hyde Park.

A: It’s very famous and beautiful.what is it?   B:It’s Tower Bridge.

Step6、Have a conclusion.
