The Lantern Festival(元宵节) is a ppular festival in China. It is in February r March. Peple als call it the Shangyuan Festival. At this festival, peple usually g ut after dinner and watch lanterns n the streets r in the parks. The lanterns lk beautiful at night. They are in different clurs and shapes. Smetimes there are firewrks at night. Peple like watching them very much.At the Lantern Festival, peple usually eat yuanxia. It is a kind f glutinus rice（糯米） ball. It means family reunin and happiness.
Thanksgiving Day(感恩节) is an imprtant（重要的） hliday in the US. It is n the furth Thursday f Nvember. Peple usually get tgether with their families. They eat rast turkeys, pumpkin pies and sweetcrn. They like watching ftball games n TV. There is ften a Thanksgiving Day parade. Thanksgiving Day is a great time fr peple t give thanks. Student ften give thanks t their parents and teachers n this day.
