(错) →Because my bike was broken this morning, I was late for school.或上面加下划线例句。 考点2：从属连词(1). when和while：两者都表示当…时候。when后接句子动词可以是持续性的也可以是短暂性的，一般后接句子时态为一般时。while后接句子动词一般是持续性的，一般连接的时态为进行时。如：It was snowing when we got to the airport. 当我们到达机场时，天下着雪。My father was reading newspaper while my mother was cooking. 我爸在读报纸时，我妈正在做饭。(2). so that, so… that, such…that与too…to的区别   先判断后面部分是短语还是句子，是短语就用too…to (太…而不能)；是句子就在so that, so…that和such…that中选用，so that(=in order that目的是)后面句子表目的，so…that与such…that(如此…以致)后面句子表结果；so…that和such…that 的区别是that前是形容词，副词或名词短语前有many, much, little或few来修饰时用so…that; that前是名词短语，且名词短语前没有many, much, little或few修饰时用such…that。如：   Tom was too tired to do his homework. (划线部分为短语，用too…to 结构)。Tom太累而不能做作业。   The teacher spoke loudly so that we could hear him clearly. (划线部分为句子，且表示老师说话大声的目的，故用so that 结构)。老师说话大声目的是我们能听清他的话。   He studies so hard that he always does well in his lessons.
