过去进行时和一般过去时的区别
过去进行时表示过去某一时刻或某一个时间段正在进行或发生的动作，强调动作 ；一般过去时表示过去发生的动作或存在的状态，多指动作 。e.g. I was making my way t the small muntain village at this time yesterday.I made my way t the small muntain village yesterday.

when&while的区别用法
when和while都有“当···的时候”，用作连词，连接主从句。
While/When I was sleeping, yu came in.When I gt up, yu left.While I was cking, yu were sleeping.
从长，用while/when(从句用延续性动词)
从短用when(从句用短暂性动词)
 延续性动词指动作可以延续一段时间, 而不是瞬间结束。    如: wrk、study、learn、drink、eat、walk、wait、watch、stand、lie、等。
瞬间性动词指动作极为短暂，瞬间结束。    如: start、begin、hit、knck、pen、clse、arrive、reach、get t、leave、cme、g、finish、brrw、buy等。
