三、知识重难点

1 there be句型：当我们谈论“某人或某物存在或不存在”时，常常使用There be这种句型。

在There be这种句型中，be动词一般由它后面的名词决定，如果是两个或两个以上的主语，谓语动词be常和最近的那个主语在数上一致，即就近原则。

(1) there be句型的肯定句有两种基本句型：

There is + 主语（a/an + 可数名词单数或不可数名词）+ 状语（地点或时间）。

There are + 主语（可数名词复数）+ 状语（地点或时间）。如：

There is a book on the desk.

There is some water in the glass.

There are many desks in the classroom.

There is a pen a knife and three pencils in the pencil-box.

There are three pencils a knife and a pen in the pencil-box.

(2) there be句型的一般疑问句： 

there be句型的一般疑问句把be 提到句首，句末加问号。肯定回答是：Yes, there is/are. 否定回答是：No, there isn’t/aren’t.如：

--- Are there any books in your bag?

--- Yes, there are./ No, there aren’t.

--- Is there a bed in the room?

--- Yes, there is./ No, there isn’t.

(3) there be句型的否定句：

there be句型的否定句就是直接在be动词后加not。如：

There isn’t some water in the glass.

There aren’t many fishes in the water.
