Step 1  Warming up & Revision

1. Greet the class.

2. Free talk.

Step 2  Presentation & Practice

1. Lead in. Last time, we learned about the life of people and Mike’s life on the farm. Today, Mike makes a PPT to show Bill his school life. Let’s share it together.

2. Show Mike’s school life one by one. Then ask and answer. Focus on the important points in each picture. Listen and repeat the text.

3. Pair work. Talk about Mike’s school life with your partner. Then retell in front of the blackboard.

4. Bill told his friends about Mike. Let’s read and help him correct the mistakes. Talk about Bill’s changes. Read and tick or cross. Then check the answers.

5. Show all kinds of invitations and discuss how to write an invita- -tion. Listen to the tape and choose. Read and answer the questions. Then check the answers together.
