【教学设计说明】In the previous lesson, we have learned some words and phrases about animals. Through the question, we not only reviewed the content of the last lesson, but also introduced this lesson.

Step 2: Listening 2a&2b&2c

1. Listen and write the animals you hear. Draw a line from the animals to the description words and the countries they are from.
2. Listen again. Complete the conversation with the words in 2a.
3. Check the answers.

Talk about the other two animals in 2a with a partner. Do John and Julie like them? Do you like them?

Step 4. Work on 2d

Role-­play the conversation.

First,let students listen to tape to correct their pronunciation.

Do a fast reading game.Choose two students to read the passage simultaneously.The faster one is the winner.Teacher can add points to him or his team.

【教学设计说明】The main purpose of this section is to correct the child's pronunciation and let the student read the text and master the key sentences in the article.Set up games to arouse students' sense of competition and make them more actively participate in the class.

Step 5. Language points

Now,Let`s focus on the language points.

(1).kind of 有点，稍微

非常口语化的表达方式，意为“有点，稍微”，后接形容词。

kind of=a little=a bit=a little bit，均意为“有点儿”。

(2).be from从……来，来自……

辨析be from与come from

(3).family  n.家庭  侧重“家庭”，强调集体

(4).辨析boring与bored

(5).sleep  不及物动词，强调睡眠的持续状态。名词，常用短语：go to sleep“睡觉；入睡”。

辨析sleep与go to bed  两者均有“睡觉”之意。

(6)  .day前不加冠词，all day＝the whole day

all night＝the whole night整夜

all week＝the whole week整星期

all year＝the whole year整年
