基于图片,对比人物引发思考,唤醒已知并激活生活经验,自然引出本课主题:exercise.
通过听课文,获取exercise的基本含义,并以此来激活更多的锻炼项目词汇,理解并运用如:playing badmintn, jgging, swimming, playing vlleyball, playing tennis 等等。在跟学生交流时可追问:When d yu swim? Wh d yu swim with? Can yu swim fast? Why d yu like t swim?
通过一听二跟读整体感知对话,了解Danny的锻炼情况。由问题引出重点词汇,minute, hur.
利用实物钟表,现场体验minute, hur 的意义和联系。
Minute 和hur 之间的转化是本课时的难点,利用钟表实物展示它们之间的转化,并进行操练为理解下一篇短文做准备。
基于图片中每个人的表情不同,联系生活经验,思考每个人表情背后的原因,并用英语表达自己的观点,培养学生英语思维。
