    Alvin’s heart hammered in his chest. Ever since he was a child, he had dreamed f this very scenari(场景).He believed this was his childhd wish cming true. And he decided t make Luna's wish cme true t. Given the distance f mre than 650 miles frm Grand Cane t Liberal, Alvin fllwed the advice frm his wife, Lee Ann Bamburg, and psted a pht f the balln and the Christmas list n his Facebk page, asking fr help lcating the sender.
    Meanwhile, Leticia Flres-Gnzalez, the mther f fur-year-ld Luna and her twin sister, Gianella, had n idea that such an effrt was underway. It had been a hard year fr Leticia and her girls. As COVID-19 spread, the family felt lnely, scared, and islated, with n relatives living nearby.
    On a particularly tugh day last December, Leticia had cme up with the idea f having the girls send letters t Santa by balln. She tld them that Santa wuld grab the ballns while he flew thrugh the air n his sled. The twins were excited. Leticia helped them write dwn all the things that they dreamed Santa might bring them, and put the ntes int Christmas red ballns. Then she tk them utside t release their wishes t the universe n the chilly windy mrning.
