Steven dreamed f ging t Califrnia r New Yrk when he gt lder. Meanwhile, he read the “trades” at the library-the newspapers and magazines f the acting business. He culdn’t believe it when he saw that there was ging t be an pen casting call(演员招雾)in his wn Midwestern city. He begged his parents t take him, but they wrked n Saturdays and they culdn’t take the day ff. He was frced t ask his lder brther, the critic.

“Deal,” Steven answered. Then he read, and, as usual, he was gd. Next, it was Brad’s turn. Steven culdn’t believe what he was seeing and hearing. Why hadn’t Brad ever tried ut fr a play? Where had he gtten all this talent all f a sudden? He asked his brther, “Why haven’t yu tried befre?”
“I was waiting fr smething big,” Brad replied.
