一、教学内容
1.词汇:birthday,soon,party,get,toy,cake,banana,orange,want,present,nice,table,sofa,sing,clothes,favourite.
2.句型:Would you like……
What do you want to buy?
二、教学目标
1 理解和掌握一些新词汇。
2理解掌握问句及其回答。
3 初步掌握特殊疑问句。
三、教学步骤
Period(I)
Step A Warming up
Stage 1 Talking about birthday
Questions : What’s this?(show them a picture of cake)
What will you think when you see the cake?
Can you tell me which date is your birthday?
Did you have a birthday?
What present do you get for your birthday?
这一部分通过一系列问题活跃课堂气氛并引出即将学习的内容
Step B Presentation
Stage 2 Welcome to the unit
(1)打开书本,教师读课文,就课文内容提问,然后带领学生朗读,要求学生集体朗读,最后叫同学到前面,用动作,表情来进行表演。
(2)问学生:“What do you want to get for your birthday?”
“Would you like……”
让学生掌握这两个问句及其回答,同时掌握won’t= will not , I’d love = I would love , Would you love(like)…… ?= Do you want……?
(3)接下来学习Part B部分,带领学生读课文上的词组,并提醒他们此处banana和sweet 用的是复数形式,然后让学生读
Stage 3 Speaking
(1) What is this ? (show them an invitation card) 通过这个问题引出单词“invitation”,然后让学生合上书本,教师读课文或放录音并提问学生。接着再为学生朗读一遍,要求学生两个人一组对话,并注意角色的转换。
(2) 问学生:假设你收到Millie的生日宴会邀请,What do you want to buy? where can you buy your present? When do you go shopping? 让学生make up a dialogue and give a performance.
(3) 提醒学生“buy sth. for sb. = buy sb. something”
Step C Conclusion
带学生读本节课所学的新单词和词组
Step D Homework
Copy the new words and make sentences using “Would you love(like)……, buy sth. for sb. , buy sb. sth”
Period(II)
Step A Revision
复习上一课时中的问句:“What do you want to get for your birthday? Would you love(like)……etc.”教师通过提问学生,使学生再现所学单词与句型,达到巩固知识的目的。接着,教师说:“Do you remember Millie’s birthday ? Are you ready to go to her party ?”引出即将学习的内容: Happy birthday
Step B Presentation
- 打开课本,教师读课文,接着带学生读,解释其中excited, balcony, blow, candle, cut, taste, delicious,并告诉他们短语be excited to do sth., 读完后就课文内容提问,如:“What does Millie feel when she see so many wonderful things? Where does her friends talk about an interesting? etc.”After that ,finish the questions on page 64. Tell them“have a good time = enjoy oneself = have fun”
- 教师说:Please open your workbook and finish “Reading.”
- Grammar部分,先让学生独立完成,之后教师请一些学生把答案写在黑板上,然后核对答案,让同学分角色朗读课文,达到进一步掌握特殊疑问句的目的。
- Consonant部分:教师先带学生读课本上的consonant,让学生完成练习,接着玩一个游戏(听单词摘音标):教师把部分所学音标写在卡片上,贴在黑板上,然后把学生分成两组,游戏开始,每组第一名学生在黑板前等候,教师说出一个单词,这两名学生应立即摘下单词所含的音标,放在讲台上,摘得对且快的得2分,摘得对而慢的得1分,摘错不得分。在教师念第一个音标时,各组的第二名学生应上前等候,在第一名学生摘完音标后,教师立即念另一个音标,游戏接着进行,最后得分多的组为优胜。
四、知识讲解
1.You look happy today, Millie. 米莉,今天你看起来很高兴。
look是行为动词“看”的意思。而在这里是联系动词,意思是“看起来”或“看上去”,后面一般跟形容词做表语。例如:
This picture looks very nice. 类似的词还有:taste(吃起来)和feel(感到/摸上去)。例如:The cake tastes delicious. They feel very happy.
2. Don’t forget to come to my party. No,I won’t. 别忘了来参加我的聚会, 好的,我不会忘的。
forget to do sth. 意为“忘记去做某事”(动作未发生)。例如:Don’t forget to close the door when you leave here.
类似的动词本单元还有want to do sth./would like to do sth.。
“No, I won’t.”的完全形式是“No, I will not.”由于祈使句是表示命令、建议,或请求某人去做某事,所以它的回答常带有表示将来的will。例如:Don’t be late next time. Sorry, I won’t.
3.I’d love=I would love
它的用法与上个单元的would like一样,后面常接动词不定式,用would love表示更愿意接受。例如:Would you like to go shopping with me? Yes, I’d love, to.
4. buy somebody something 给某人买东西= buy something for somebody
类似的短语还有:get somebody something= get something for somebody。例如:
Mum, can you buy a pencil for me? Please get some water for me ?
5. when可以用作疑问副词,常用于对时间的提问。例如:
When do you get up every day?
When does your sister do her homework?
When还可以用作连词,意思是“当……的时候”。例如:
You can play football when you finish your homework?
We can’t chat with each other when we are in class.
6. They all have a good time. 他们玩得很高兴。
have a good time= enjoy oneself 玩得高兴,过得愉快
例如:We always enjoy ourselves on Sundays.
I hope you will have a good time.
7. Millie’s friends have a lot of presents for her, such as CDs, hair clips, chocolates, toys and comics. 米莉的朋友们送给她许多礼物,比如,光盘、发夹、巧克力、玩具以及卡通书。
such as 意为“例如”,常用于列举符合条件的人或事物。例如:
There are lots of things in the shop, such as books, bags, food and drink.
8. Some of her friends sit on the balcony and talk about an interesting film. 她的一些朋友坐在阳台上谈论一部有趣的电影。
talk about意为“谈论……”。例如:
They often talk about their classmates. talk to sb./talk with sb. 意为“与……交谈”。例如:Does he often talk with his parents?
9. Then Millie makes a wish. 然后米莉许了个愿。
make a wish 意为“许愿”。
make可以与许多词一起构成短语:make a bed(整理床铺) make a face(做鬼脸) make friends(交朋友) make a kite(制作风筝)
10. The cake tastes delicious. 蛋糕尝起来好吃极了。
taste意为“吃起来……”,作表语,后常跟形容词。例如:The apple tastes sweet.
11. They all have a good time.他们都玩得很高兴。
have a good time= enjoy oneself 例如: They all enjoy themselves.
