Unit 10 If you go to the party , you’ll have a great time!

【学习目标】1. 掌握下列单词

                meeting, video, organize, potato chips, chocolate, upset, taxi, advice

              能掌握以下句型：

① ─I think I’ll go to the party with Karen and Anna. 

                 ─If you go to the party, you’ll have a great time!

② ─What will happen if they have the party today? 

                ─Half the class won’t come. 

2. 掌握含if条件状语从句的主从复合句的用法。

3. 情感目标：能用if 引导的条件状语从句作出假设，用will谈论结果。

一、课前预习  请从课本P73-75找出下列词组

1. go to the party  参加派对

   Lucy 喜欢参加派对。 Lucy enjoys                     

2. （1）have a great time  玩得高兴

= have a good time = have fun = enjoy oneself

    上个周末我在农场玩得很开心。（两句）

(2) have a good time doing sth.= have fun doing sth   做某事开心

   他们昨天打篮球很开心。

3.  (1) Let sb. in  让某人进去（sb. 要用宾格）

不要让他进去，因为学生们现在正在上英语课。

（2）let sb do sth  让某人做某事

4.  half the class  班上一半的人

Half + 复数名词，谓语动词用复试形式：Half the apples are red.

Half+可数名词单数或不可数名词， 谓语动词用单数形式: Half the work is finished.

（1）这半个苹果式Tom的。  Half of this apple                       .

（2）班上一半的人喜欢英语。                                 

5. ask sb to do sth  叫某人做某事

  ask sb not to do sth叫某人不要做某事

请教孩子们不要在街上踢球。                                     

6. 特殊疑问句（what，how，when，where···）+动词不定式（to do···），表示进一步要做的事情。

I don’t know what to do 我不知道该怎么办。

I don’t know how to do it  我不知道该怎么去做（那件事情）。

我真的不知道怎样去到邮局。

I really don’t know                       ________-    .

7. give sb. some advice 

给某人一些建议（注意：advice是不可数名词）

A piece of advice  一条建议
