3)  学生正确理解“How’s it going?”的含义及回答。

 1）学会表达对不同天气的态度及原因。

Ⅰ.复习

热身

1. 师生交际：教师创设情境，利用简笔画、图片,或让一名学生表演动作，或者直接出示短语，增强学生表演对话的自信心。(突出现在进行时态)

1)—What are you doing ?      —I am eating.

—What is he doing ?        —He is eating.

—What are they doing?      —They're eating..

2—How is the weather?  —It’s sunny/windy/raining/snowing…

 What’stheweatherlikeinBeijin—It’s sunny/windy/raining/snowing……

3)强调考点： What is the weather like ?= How is the weather?

2. 检查生词预习:

1) 正音, 让个别学生朗读生词，教师及时正音，然后领读、齐读。

2）听写生词。由于本课时单词较少，可附带听写上一课时的重点单词，1-2人一组爬黑板，其余的学生以学习小组为单位听写，然后互批互改，小组长汇报检查情况。

对优者提出表扬，表现差者要帮助学生识记生词

体验

要求学生写出上一课时五个城市的天气状况，并谈一些自己的感受。

2.体验Who is the best reporter？教师示范，让学生模仿。

A: How is the weather in Beijing ? = What’s the weather like in Beijing?

A: Do you like rainy days?  B: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.

1. 3a Fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the verbs in the box.

教师在黑板上画出各种表情的面孔，帮助学生理解其含意。

T：Look at the face, are you happy?         S：Yes, I am.

T：What are you doing?（板书）           S:  It’s great.

利用“What are you doing?”引出新单词“doing, playing, studying, talking, making”.

注意引导学生积极动脑看画，分清动词书写形式和用法的不同；以及参考它的文化背景,学生两人一组看图对话练习。

Answers: am doing, do, is playing, does, Is , studying, is studying,

        are making, make, Is talking, is talking

2. 词缀：

1）英语中有许多名词加后缀y变成形容词，形容词的意思与其所对应的名词相关。如：

Cloud云----cloudy多云的     rain----rainy多雨的    snow—snowy多雪的   wind----windy有风的   sun----sunny晴朗的

 2）英语中有许多动词加后缀ing变成现在分词，用于现在进行时或某些固定短语中，如：

 Rain----raining     wind----winding   play----playing

3. Ask students to practice the conversation on the right. Then make the new conversation. 首先两位同学大声朗读3b右面的对话，然后学生理解图意和句型，仿例练习,让使学生两人一组练习表演。

A:What are you doing ?         B：I am ……

A: Is he studying English?       B: Yes, he is .

应用

3b Yuan Yuan from CCTV is interviewing people in five different places .Fill in the chart below.

You can say like this:

 Good morning, dear friends. Today is Tuesday. Here is CCTV weather report!

You can see, Beijing is sunny. Shanghai is cloudy. Moscow is snowing…….Thank you for listening!
