    Show the flashcards of drinks to the students and slowly introduce the words to them.

    e.g., T: Look , here are some drinks. They’re cola, juice, water and milk.

    Activity2

    Have the students look at the picture for ‘Look and say’ on Student’s Book page 23 while they listen to the recording. Then ask them some questions

    To create an easy language enviornment forstudents to learn English.

     

     

     

     

     

    Puppet is a kind of popular toy for most children. It is an easy way to catch their interest.

    While-task procedure

    Activity1

    Show the flashcards of drinks to the students and have them quickly respond.

    e.g.,

    T: (Shows the picture of water)

    Activity2

    Put the flashcards of drinks on the blackboard and have the students perform the following chant.

    e.g.,

    What do you like?

    What do you like?

    I like cola and milk.

    I like juice and water and milk.

    I like cola, juice, water and milk.

    Activity3

    Have the students listen to and repeat after the recording of the dialogue on Student’s Book page Then have them act it out.

     

    Activity4

    Have the students do Part A’ Listen and number’ on Workbook page 22. Help them check the answers. Then have the students ask and answer according to the pictures

    Have the students look at the wall picture for ‘Say and act’ on Student’s Book page 22

    Teach them the following rhyme.

    e.g.,

    Drink some milk and water.

    Have some juice and cola.

    Drink soft drinks, Coco.
