1教学目标
1、能够听、说、认、读单词:spring、summer、autumn、winter。
2、能够认读短语:fly a kite、go swimming、go cycling、make a snowman。
3、能够听、说、认、读句型“Which season do you like best? I like…best. Why? Because I can …”
2学情分析
五年级英语在小学英语教学中存在的问题 :
1、学习兴趣不是很高,部分学生甚至有厌恶感,同时,许多学生还是为学习而学习,谈不上兴趣问题;
2、回家不会学习,无正确的学习方法,不知如何看书.学习态度谈不上十分端正,回家以后巩固时间很少,且缺乏有效的巩固手段,练的机会明显不足。
3、部分学生学习的目的性不是很强,导致学习习惯不好,学习无明确的计划,有作业就写,无作业就玩。老师布置的作业不能按时完成。作为语言性学科,听与读是非常关键的环节,而大多数学生这一点做的不好,这在听力测试时表现的尤为明显。
3重点难点
1、能够听、说、认、读单词:spring、summer、autumn、winter。
2、能够听、说、认、读句型“Which season do you like best? I like…best. Why? Because I can …”能够用所学的词句进行询问喜欢的季节,并做相应的回答。
4教学过程
Step 1、Warm—up
T: Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to meet to you!
S: Good morning, teacher. Nice to meet to you, too!
T: Now, let’s sing a song “The sun is shining!”(出示课件)
(设计意图:教师播放歌谣,激发学生英语学习的浓厚兴趣。)
Step 2、Presentation
引入课题:
T: Now, boys and girls. Let’s see a video! (出示课件)
T: After watching this video, what do you know?
S:……(设计意图:通过看四季儿歌视频引出season这个单词)
T: Yes, there are 4 seasons in a year. OK, today we will learn Unit 2“Seasons of a year”.
依次展示四个不同的季节。
T: Let’s enjoy some pictures, watch carefully and listen to me !
spring (出示课件)
T: It’s a picture of spring, it’s green. It’s warm in spring. We can see beautiful flowers, and we can see birds. (教读单词)
(2)summer(出示课件)
T: OK, next season. Look! It’s summer, We can go swimming in summer, and it’s very hot. We can eat ice cream. Do you like ice cream? (教读单词)
(3)autumn (出示课件)
T: Now, the third season. Look! It’s autumn, we can see orange leaves, and there are many fruits in autumn. (教读单词)
(4)winter (出示课件)
T: The last season. Oh, how beautiful! It’s winter. It’s white and it’s snowy, we can make a snowman in winter. (教读单词)
(设计意图:教师利用图片展示四个季节的特性,以比喻的形式展示了不同季节所呈现的不同,有意识的吧课堂实践与实际生活结合起来,生动活泼,更有利于教学活动的开展和学生学习兴趣的激发。)
Let’s play a game!(炸弹游戏,巩固新知)
短语:fly a kite、go swimming、go cycling、make a snowman
T: Look at the picture!(出示课件)
What is she doing?
S:……
T: Yes, good job. In spring, I can fly a kite. (出示课件)
教读短语fly a kite,配上动作读、分组读等形式进行练习,用相同的方式来学习其他短语:go swimming、go cycling、make a snowman。同时巩固句子:“I can …”
Let’s play!
T;I do the actions, you guess season.
(设计意图:让学生知道在不同的季节能做不同的事,为下一个环节做铺垫。)
Step3、Practice
T: In spring, I can fly a kite, so I like spring, and I like autumn, too. I often like winter. But the summer is very hot, I can go swimming. I can have ice cream. I can eat watermelons, so I like summer best.(出示课件)
A:出示单词best,教读两遍。
B:出示句子“I like …best.”并教读。(出示课件)
C:出示图片说句子“I like …best.”
T: OK, boys and girls, I like summer best. Which season do you like best? (出示课件)
A:师教读重点句子
B:同桌相互问答,师抽问。
T: Which season do you like best?
S:I like summer best.
(2)T:I like summer best, too. Because summer is hot, I can go swimming.
A:出示单词because,教读。
B:出示句子“Because I can …”并教读。(出示课件)
C:抽生问答:T: Which season do you like best?
S:I like…best.
T: Why?
S: Because I can …
T: Now, four students a group. According to the sentences, make a dialogue.
让学生上台展示
(设计意图:学生能够用所学的词句进行询问喜欢的季节,并做相应的回答。
让学生成组自编自演对话,发挥他们的创造思维和相互学习的自觉性,在合作学习的同时,共同进步。)
Step 4、Let’s chant!
Spring is green with flowers and songs,
Summer is hot and the days are long,
Fall is golden and farmers are busy,
Winter is white and the year is gone.
(设计意图:边唱儿歌边做动作,锻炼学生动手动口的能力,同时也总结了这一课的总体内容。)
Step 5、Homework
Make a survey. 做一个小调查。
让学生制作表格,调查家庭成员以及好朋友最喜欢的季节。
(设计意图:让学生做调查活动,能够让他们在日常生活中学会发现事物,加强与他人交流的能力。)
