    教学内容

    This period is from Unit5 of Oxford English 7A. The main topic of this unit is festivals. It is closely related to our daily life. Students will show great interest in it. Furthermore , they have learnt a little about different festivals in primary school. So they will be active and willing to share something in class. All these above are the advantages of learning this article. So I think what the teacher should do is to introduce more knowledge about Halloween and give them more opportunities to practice what they will learn. Also this article helps students learn about western culture and know the differences between Chinese culture and American culture. We should encourage students to love our traditional culture.

    教学目标

    1. To enable students to grasp the new words and new phrases about Halloween
    2. To cultivate students abilities of reading comprehension
    3. To enable students to say something about Halloween
    4. To help students build the awareness of loving Chinese traditional culture.

    教学策略

    In this topic, I will use Task-based teaching method, communicative teaching method and so on. I will design different activities to help students learn and make them take an active in them. That is “Learning by doing, learning by using”. Let the students be the masters of the class teaching, thus, student-centered teaching method is well shown.

    3. Listen and answer questions. You see, Halloween is very interesting. Do you want to know more about it.

    1. Read and complete the notes about Halloween. while listening, I made some notes, but some words are missing, can you help me complete it?

    教学反思

    In my lesson , I designed a few activities step from the easy to the difficult step by step and I also used some different teaching methods so as to achieve the teaching goals. And the multi-media teaching aids provided more concrete and audio-video information for students, which helped motivate and arouse the students interest in English learning.

    Meanwhile I created a relaxing and harmonious learning environment. I respected each individual student and encourage everyone by using Thank you, Well done! You did a good job ,have a try and so on. However , some students are poor in expressing themselves. So I will create more chances for them to communicate with each other.
