Bdy language includes many different aspects f ur everyday physical behavir: the way we greet ne anther; hw we stand, hw we sit r walk; the way we use ur hands and eyes are sme f the mst basic.
When we speak, we use much mre than just wrds. We als cmmunicate with ur face, hands, and ur wn bdy. Nnverbal cmmunicatin includes nt nly hw we mve ur bdy, but als hand gestures, facial expressins, including eye cntact.
Hwever, there are sme cuntries where these can have bad meanings! It’s imprtant t be careful when using certain cmmn gestures. Dn’t think that everyne in the wrld understands ne gesture in the same way. When yu see a strange reactin, yu can make sure t emphasize yur real meaning by using wrds and a different hand mvement.
In grups, brainstrm a list f different kinds f bdy language. Use the infrmatin frm this unit, yur wn experience and knwledge, and/r the website excerpt belw.
